The start-up company at Vancouver develops advanced 3D camera models for capturing 3D data and its application in random bin-picking. My tasks include prototyped camera mounts and calibration tools using 3D printers, developed a matlab app gui that calculates the field of view of the camera for hardware selection and analysis, conducted camera calibration and random bin-picking testing using 6-axis robot (UR5) and translated software applications from English to Chinese.
